Last evening we, along with 6 other couples and out temple president and his wife, attended a concert at the Canadaigua College. They have a beautiful amphi theater and you can either pay and sit in the covered seating or bring your blankets or lawn chairs and sit on the grass. We all went the cheap route and took to the grass. The Rochester Philomonic Orchestra provided the music. It was a two and a half hour of patriotic music...followed by a great fireworks show. It was very much like watching the "Boston Pops" on TV. You know just how much I'm into music concerts...but it was pretty good. I really enjoyed it. On the actual 4th of July we are going out on Lake Canandaigua on an old fashion paddle boat and watching the fireworks from the upper deck of the boat.
