A couple of weeks ago Brad and I attended thethe NHRA Springnationals event that comes to Phoenix each February. We have attended several times in the past. We both had a great time and enjoyed watching the cars race, the machanics working on the cars, and the "serious red-neck" people that turn out for the event. These cars can cover the 1/4 mile track in less than 5 seconds at a speed of over 330 mph. There are really loud...even with ear plugs in you can feel the hair on your head moving when they pass. It was fun but we are good for another couple of years.

Derek is waiting for you to take him to something like that Grandpa... Tad says those cars can't keep up with our Quest.
