The Gila Valley Temple...

It's just about time for the Open House and Dedication of our new temple. Everything is going well and is on schedule. Mary is involved as a tour guide and I'm working security. We've both been called and set apart as temple workers when it opens. If you are planning on attending the Open House be aware that they would like you to make a reservation first. You can do that by doing a web-search using "The Gila Valley Temple." That will bring up the page that has all the times and the link to go to in order to make a reservation. They are anticipating 140,000 people to attend and would like to have a better handle on the numbers. They will not turn anyone away that just shows up. The dedication will be broadcast to every chapel in Arizona on May 23rd (no block meetings that day in AZ). The Cultural Celebration, held on May 22nd, will be broadcast to every chapel (with a dish) in the United States. If you have any questions about all this or if you need a place to stay....call us. We have plenty of room and would love to have family enjoy this time with us.

So exciting. It looks beautiful - this is the first picture of the completed temple I've seen. I'm jealous that Dave will get to see it without me! All of my family plans to come down for an open house day too.
