Here is a look at my new office. Check out the wood floor. It is straight from Barney's of New York. Jeff and I glued it down and it looks pretty good. We tore out the old closet and built a 12 foot built-in unit. The middle section now has shelves and doors on the top part. The 8 drawers that fill the bottom part are being built. There is black trim on the front of the shoe boxes and it looks good. Mom painted the walls a light grey color with white baseboards and crown molding. We painted all the wooden parts of the cabinets a flat balck color. I really like it. We also took all the awards down and put them away. Now we have a couple of pictures and a cork board up.

now you just need to tear that 20 yr old wallpaper off of mom's room and update her room, basically the only room left in the house that.....wait, while we're on it, (this will be over mom's dead body) let's take down the lick and stick bricks in the kitchen wall, redo the cabinets in there, and take down the wood paneling from 1972 in the basement and update that room and the basement room as well!
