Arizona Burns....

ARIZONA IS BURNING UP! There are so many fires burning in Arizona that it is really unbelievable. The Wallow Fire started on the Coronado Trail and burned through Luna, NM, Alpine, Big Lake, Greer, Springerville and Egar. It has burned 600, 000 acres and is still burning. The Horseshoe Fire has burned everything south of Bowie and west of Elfrida all the way to the Mexico and New Mexico borders. It has burned more than 350, 000 acres. The Monument Fire burned more than 150 homes around Sierra Vista. It burned SW of Sierra Vista and the surrounding areas. It burned around 250, 00o acres. It almost burned Bo Hall's home. There are more fires in Rio Rico/Nogales area, Heber area, and near Payson. The Stanley Fire just started two days ago and is just west of us. It is burning in the mountains just south of San Carlos Lake (on the res). Mt. Graham is the only mountain around AZ that is not on fire. All Forest Service and BLM lands are closed to camping.
